Farewell to the simutrans forum

For the past 5 years, I've enjoyed creating simutrans (extended) patches and adding accents to it, as if I had completed the quests in the role-playing game.

But it's time to say goodbye to the simutrans forum.

It is a great pity that after celebrating the bogus "25th anniversary of simutrans", simutrans (also simutrans extended) is rapidly declining.

(Perhaps because of that effect, some old contributors appeared for a while, but they soon disappeared LOL)

I expected this to happen in the near future last year, but I didn't expect it to arrive so soon.

Few people contribute anymore, only those who are loud and can't do anything.

So I felt keenly that

it is no longer worth investing my time into it.

I myself did not contribute much. But be aware that in our entertainment-filled modern age, low activity keeps people off their interests.

Simutrans/simutrans extended is a fish that has been washed up and awaits death. Do something else that's more fun than putting makeup on a dying fish.

From now on, I'll just be coding for myself from time to time. (My community was destroyed by a certain Japanese.)

Start walking slowly on a different road from Simutrans extended.

The priority of simutrans extended in James' life is very low, but if someone who supports him appears, simutrans extended may come back again. I am not criticizing him. He has been fighting a lonely battle for a long time. 

I started working towards another goal. I just want to be free from anything.

If simutrans extended ever regains its charm, then I might turn around.
